Angelique Uglow holds the position of Executive Vice President at ReconMR, where her primary responsibilities encompass new business and proposal development. With her meticulous attention to detail, she provides oversight and establishes pricing strategies for the company’s extensive portfolio of BRFSS data collection, government, and academic studies, ensuring each endeavor meets rigorous standards.

Celebrating her 30th anniversary as a researcher this year, Angel brings a wealth of experience to her role. Her journey in market research began in 1994 as an interviewer, where she collected crucial data for esteemed organizations like JD Power & Associates and Taco Bell. Over the years, she honed her expertise, managing a call center in Las Vegas for a decade before delving into telephone and ABS sampling methods for the next decade. Rapidly rising through the ranks, Angel served as the Vice President of Operations at Scientific Telephone Samples and provided consultation on sampling methods for a wide variety of research needs. Relocating to Texas, she continued her focus on telephone data collection, is actively involved in crafting research proposals and overseeing project execution.

What motivates and excites Angel in her role is the dynamic nature of research and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that positively impact the human condition. Her significant accomplishments and volunteerism include serving as President of SAPOR and being elected to serve on AAPOR’s Executive Council as Associate and Membership/Chapter Relations Chair from 2020 to 2022. Through continuing education since 2006, Angel maintains an Insights Professional Certification at the Expert Level, underscoring her commitment to excellence in her field.

Outside of work, Angel finds joy in spending time with her beloved pets, indulging in walks and cuddles with her two pit bulls, and doting on her new little kitten. Her hobbies include solving puzzles, practicing Pilates, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Angel’s favorite pastimes include engaging in games like Tetris, Clue, and Poker, although she humorously admits to lacking a poker face.
