A Scrabble champion for three consecutive years in ALAS tournaments and a consistent top contender in Spades Tournaments for four years, Claritza's competitive spirit shines through. While in college she brought Luis Miranda (of “Hamilton” fame) to speak at an ALAS event, winning her a 2 year internship at the Hispanic Federation of New York City Additionally, her passion for culture and expression led her to dance in the Sankofa African Drum and Dance Ensemble for two years, adding yet another dimension to her diverse interests and talents.
