Siena Research Institute Colleen Kromery Director of Project Management

As the Director of Project Management, Colleen leads end-to-end custom research projects, guiding clients from initial consultation and survey design through programming, fielding, analysis, and delivery of actionable insights. Her work supports strategic planning, grant applications, academic integration, and public reporting by translating complex data into clear, data-driven findings that inform decision-making.
Colleen has over 20 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative survey research, operations, and project leadership, cultivating a career that spans market research, polling, and program evaluation. She has led and supported large-scale national and statewide studies, developed strategies to improve response rates and data quality, and implemented training and operational systems that strengthen research performance across teams. In her current role, she oversees a portfolio of complex, primarily web-based studies, manages high-profile research initiatives, and contributes to survey development and academic integration efforts, while also supporting workforce development through involvement in the SRI internship program.
Colleen is known for her commitment to data quality, thoughtful execution, and strong client partnerships that drive meaningful outcomes, approaching her work with curiosity, continuous learning, and a strong sense of ownership. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, magna cum laude, from Siena University, along with an Advanced Certificate in Data Analytics, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics. Outside of her work life, Colleen enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, playing cornhole, and engaging with books, films, and games that challenge her strategic thinking.
